Limber de Chocolate

Ohhh Chocolate, how many of us enjoy chocolate! I love chocolate so much, that of course I had to make one of my favorite, Chocolate Limber.

This is an easy and delicious Puerto Rican Icee. Everyone makes it differently, some people make it with chocolate bars, chocolate syrup, or powdered chocolate. I make my Chocolate Limber with Chocolate Chip.

I hope you try this recipe and love it as much as I do. You can always add some chocolate chips, chocolate candy pieces, or chocolate cookies. There are no rules for making this delicious Limber.

Ingredients

1 12oz evaporated milk

2 cups 12oz dark chocolate chips

1 and 3/4 cup of regular milk

4 tbsp of sugar

2 tsp of vanilla extract

Items needed:

8 oz. Disposable plastic clear cups- https://amzn.to/3FQhxbN

Mesh strainer- https://amzn.to/43ScK1A

Instructions

In a blender, add all the ingredients and blend well for a few minutes. Transfer the liquid to a deep bowl and scoop out the foam on top with the strainer gently without going in too deep in the bowl. You want to reserve all that chocolate in the bottom of the bowl for the next step.

Now you can pour the mixture into each cup, filling them to about 1/4 an inch from the brim. Add all the delicious pieces of chocolate chips left in the bottom of the bowl to the mixture and freeze until fully frozen for at least 8 hours.

Tips:

For a more icee consistency, you can replace the regular milk with water, and add more sugar.

I use lactoid milk but regular milk works fine, just add sugar to your liking.

Enjoy!
