Lygdda’s Lupus Butterfly Corporation is a Florida nonprofit organization dedicated to lupus awareness, education, support, and community outreach.
Our mission is to create a community where individuals and families affected by lupus feel supported, understood, encouraged, and remembered.
Through awareness, education, outreach, and our Butterfly Care Package Program, we hope to bring comfort and hope to those who need it.
🦋 Why I Started Lygdda’s Lupus Butterfly
This organization was born from my own journey.
I live with lupus, and I know firsthand that this journey can be difficult, unpredictable, and sometimes lonely.
But my connection to lupus goes beyond my own experience. I also have loved ones battling lupus, and watching the people I care about face their own challenges has touched my heart deeply.
There are days when you may feel exhausted, overwhelmed, misunderstood, or simply need someone to remind you that you’re not alone.
That’s why I created Lygdda’s Lupus Butterfly.
I wanted to create something that comes from a place of love, understanding, compassion, and hope—a community where people affected by lupus can feel seen, supported, and remembered.
Our Butterfly Care Packages are one small way we hope to bring comfort to someone having a difficult day.
But our vision is bigger than a care package.
We want to spread awareness, provide encouragement, share helpful resources, and build a community where people affected by lupus know that someone cares.
I started this organization because lupus is part of my story, but I don’t want anyone to feel like they have to face their story alone.

🎁 Butterfly Care Packages
A little comfort can mean so much.
Our Butterfly Care Package Program is designed to provide encouragement and comfort to individuals affected by lupus.
A care package may include:
💜 Purple blanket
💜 Cozy socks
💜 Journal or notebook
💜 Self-care items
💜 Comfort items
💜 Lupus-awareness items
💜 Encouragement card from Lygdda’s Lupus Butterfly
Care-package contents may vary depending on available resources and donated items.
If you or someone you know could use a little extra encouragement, you may submit a care-package request.
Submitting a request does not guarantee that a care package will be provided. Requests are reviewed based on available resources and program guidelines.

Living with lupus can bring difficult days, unexpected challenges, and moments when you simply need someone to remind you that you matter.
Sometimes it’s a blanket.
Sometimes it’s a card.
Sometimes it’s simply knowing that someone cares.
That’s what our Butterfly Care Package represents.

If you are affected by lupus and would like to request a Butterfly Care Package, you may complete our request form.
Please provide only the information necessary for us to review your request.
Please do not submit medical records or detailed medical information through this form.
Requests are reviewed based on available resources and program guidelines.

Lygdda’s Lupus Butterfly Corporation is a Florida nonprofit organization created to provide encouragement, support, and hope, to individuals and families affected by Lupus.
We are currently completing our organizational and federal tax-exempt process.
Lygdda’s Lupus Butterfly Corporation is a separate nonprofit organization from Picante y Sabor Food.
At this time, we are not representing contributions as tax-deductible charitable contributions. We will update this information if and when our federal tax-exempt status is officially recognized by the IRS.
